Design & Analysis Tools

Best-in-class HVAC system design and analysis tools are critical elements for creating the optimal building environment. Given the level of control and the performance demands of today’s sophisticated HVAC systems, seemingly incremental efficiencies result in significant reductions of resource requirements. Accurate analysis and specifications translate into substantial savings and optimal performance for building owners.

To assist the engineering community with building and HVAC systems, Trane has pioneered the development of a range of software and design and analysis tools to assist in the process.

Whether you are doing a quick energy audit or a comprehensive load analysis, profiling system performance, determining the optimal HVAC components or configurations for a given installation, we have a software package that will provide you with a solution for today’s design demands.

TCPA
Trane Chiller Plant Analyzer (TCPA) is a Trane Building Advantage tool developed to perform quick energy audits including energy calculations, budget investment calculations, automatic audit reports. The program is also used to generate detailed performance data on specific chiller and multi-pipe units.

TRACE 700
Trane Air Conditioning Economics, or TRACE™ is an award-winning design-and-analysis software program that helps HVAC professionals optimize the design of a building’s HVAC system based on energy utilization and life-cycle cost.
